Highlights and lowlights

Who wants to discuss the high and low lights from my weekend?! Too bad if you said no, we are doing it anyway suckas

Highlights

//Yesterday, I was successfulish in attempting an art project for something above our bed that has been bare for over 2 years. More on that later this week.

//Ate my bodyweight in Sauerkraut and Brats with my family at the local Sauerkraut Feed put on by my Grandpa's Lions Club.

//Danced the chicken dance.

//Even got my little cousin (and by little, I mean, the kid is a freshman in high school and already 6'3) to dance the polka in front of old people with me.

//Went on a longish run on Saturday and didn't die. It was also sunny, even if it was cold.

//Bought 2 boxes of Girl Scout cookies.

Lowlights

//Tried to stop by Petco to look at puppies and the Petco didn't even have any puppies to look at. WTF.

//I didn't have enough cash on me for a box of Thin Mints.

//Ate way too many said Girl Scout cookies.

//It is official, I cannot, for the life of me, dance. When I said danced the polka earlier, what I really meant was hop around in a circle.

//I got really, irrationally upset over the fact that I am zero percent crafty.

//It took me 3 attempts to paint a triangle. A TRIANGLE. So elementary, Watson.

//Brad and I have been having an argument for a long while now about whether lemons or limes are superior. I say lemons hands down, but then he took it to a vote on Facebook and evidently people are idiots, because the majority of them voted for Limes...Then again who even uses Facebook anymore? What a loser. The only people that comment on those kind of polls shouldn't be trusted. Unless it is my Aunt LeAnn, because she voted for Lemons and I love her, but then she also voted for Limes too (very politically correct of her) / I can't say anything rude about her. The rest of you Lime lovers can all eat it.

And that concludes my weekend, friends.

I am totally jealous you got to do the chicken dance.

You can't make lemonade out of a freakin' lime!! Lemons win every time here!

Petco to look at puppies is one of the best and worst things to do. Girl scout cookies are much more satisfying.

Lemon, except when I'm having a gin & tonic. Also, I'm so pissed I'm missing Girl Scout cookies season right now. SamoaLovah4Lyfe.

I'm amused by this chicken dance you speak of and now demand to see it in action.

I once cried / threw a tantrum because I could write straight on a poster board. That was last year.

Lemons are 100% superior...obviously. I also ate my weight in girl scout cookies this weekend.

I'm sorry - I'm team limes! We put them in everything we juice...I can't help it! I hear you on the craftiness though. I try so hard to be crafty, but I always fail ;)

Hahahhahaha props for going on a run without dying :) And I was verrrrry tempted to purchase a box or two or five of Girl Scout cookies, but those little tykes are thieves! "Back in my day" a box of cookies was like $1.50 lol.

tagalongs will be the end of me.

I can't dance for the life of me either, but that doesn't stop me! Lemons all the way!

But but...cherry limeades are amazing....

And I like lime squirted on my popcorn.

BUT I prefer lemon in my water, so there's that.

I cant believe there were no puppies!!! I am not allowed anywhere where they have adoptions on the weekends because I will bring them ALL home. Or be dragged out of the building crying. Either way, it's bad.

Well you have to look at it like this: lemon's go great in water and on fish and chicken BUT limes make margaritas. And I love margaritas.

Melissa Suggitt said...

it's definitely lemons. good god how is that even a question. LEMONADE ANYONE? ugh.

also i am a superior polka-er due to being Ukrainian so YES.

Now I'm mad that I got a snap video of Brad dancing instead of you. C'mon!!

Limes

Lemons are clearly superior. They are larger, prettier and supply more juice than a lime. Although you chase tequila with a lime for which lime deserves a point.
And I am not even embarrassed to admit the girls scouts take checks. I know...I wrote one for $5 for a box of somoas.

Uh, lemons for the win. Duh.

Thank goodness I haven't seen any Girl Scouts selling cookies. Those cookies are my frenemies.

I vote for lemons and that's not just because I like yah but it's the dang truth! Yeah for long runs and not dying...haven't accomplished that one in a long time :-)

i'm sure you dance just fine. i love how you went on a run and then ate cookies. you're my kind of people.

Jealous of your cookies! I haven't been able to find any girl scouts selling any yet this year

I am also zero percent crafty. If I do something, it will look like a 2-year-old did it.

I vote lemons - hands down! I use one almost every day :) In water, unsweet tea, etc. Boo for no thin mints, although Samoas are my fave so good choice! Can't wait to see your art project :))

The lemon/lime debate is completely relative. It totally depends on what they're being used for. I personally love lemon, can't get enough! X Jane http://janeheinrichs.blogspot.com

Bahaha... man, it has been forever since I've taken the time to read ANY blogs. I remember why I love yours so much. You crack me up lady. And, while I LIKE limes more... lemons are much more versatile and definitely superior.

I am not at ALL crafty, and I hate it. I can sorta knit, though. That's my consolation.

Limes. Don't kill me.
